Hi guys. I am shooting in downtown LA on Sunday night and I was
wondering if anyone had much experience with UHF there? Is it a
problem? Unfortunately by the time I found out I was going to have to
go wireless it was too late for me to go and rent some nice Lectro's
so I am going to have to use my Sennheiser G2's I am using the 518
range (according to Lectro's chart it is somewhat free of TV stations
in LA) and I plan on using 2 receivers with 1 plug on transmitter.
This way I am sort of creating a sudo diversity system since the G2's
do not over diversity in their small form factor. Is this going to
work ok? I also have a pair of Lectro 187's but no plug on transmitter
or else I would use those since VHF is way less crowded these days...
Any advice would be good. Remember the shoot is tomorrow night and I
have no access to anything else at the moment. Has anyone use G2s
downtown? They have been pretty good to me so far but I'm guessing
downtown is a tough environment.
