Subject: Frequency coordination software

To Larry Fisher, and others. I have been experimenting with an online
frequency coordination program via Audio Technica's web site. This
app claims you can type in 30 wireless frequencies and it does the A-
B, B-A order math and will tell you if there are any conflicts between
freq's.

I was wondering if Larry could take a look at it. The issue that
arises is that when I enter two frequencies that the Lectro chart says
will cause intermodulation, th AT software shows no conflicts ! I
feel that a program like this would be invaluable for us as mixers,
but especially for reality mixers that have adjacent blocks running in
a bag system. The gear I'm using on a show this week will have BLK 21
RX in the bag for cast, BLK 21 & 28 for camera hops, and a BLK 27 for
IFB. I now have 21 & 22, and 27 & 28 adjacent blocks to worry about
conflicts. The gear is not mine, but rented from Wexler for the
show. I would like to be able to scan the location for clean freq's,
plug them into the software and let it tell me what is not gonna jive
together.

Shure Wireless also has a MAC/PC program called Wireless Workbench
that seems to be a valuable tool as well. It is much more involved,
but when I do the coordination thing as mentioned above, it shows no
conflicts.

I am a MAC user and they both work on MAC, but i'm not sure if they
are accurate or not.

Larry, if you could take a moment to check them out it would be much
appreciated.

Thanks,
