this is great Philip, thanks a lot! i believe the cam will be a
panasonic varicam. i will be carted next to the camera so cabling is
not too big of a deal. i was going to run TOD, and per yur suggestion,
take tc in and set HD-P2 sync to LTC (i think? from memory, don't have
the unit in front of me) and jam a tc slate to clap the takes. figured
this should cover all bases. i agree, 1 less cable is best for me when
possible. but for my general knowledge, is genlock out to wordclock in
not a valid connection?
