If your B camera is a 200,then you don't even need to do double
system. The camera mics on 3 and 4 can be used more for dialog, while
1 and 2 record the matrixed output of the Mini. Put a true shotgun or
lav into the center channel input, and you have tons of coverage.
Remember, this is still one of the least expensive ways to get
surround. The H2-Pro and H3-D need a separate recorder, while the
Sanken WMS-5 and Soundfield ST350 have the same needs and a price
point north of 5k. The less expennsive SoundField SPS200 is not out
yet, and the Core Sound Tetramic with its 4mic preamp and PD Audio-CF
is in a back-order situation.
