Adrian Dharma Wajaya wrote under the title "This is the barbarians
bible verses" accusing that the Bible contains barbarian's verses,
for example, Numbers 31:17 "Now therefore kill every male among
the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying

Debunking Adrian's accusations as evil intending to detract the truth
of God of Jesus as follows:
Adrian devilishly omitted the verses 16 and 18 to make the verse 17
looks barbaric.
Take a reading at Numbers 31:16, 17and 18:
Num 31:16 Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through
the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in
the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation
of the LORD.
Num 31:17 Now therefore kill every male among the little ones,
and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.
Num 31:18 But all the women, children, that have not known a
man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.

Verse 16 speaks of the sin committed by the children of Israel
through the counsel of Balaam to worship the deity in Peor, East
of Jordan; and God plagued the children of Israel for their sin
as punishment.
Verse 17 speaks of the punishment by God to be inflicted upon
the Midianites, the descendants of Abrahams=Hebrews for the
seducting the Israelites to sin against God by worship the
deity in Peor.
Verse:18 speaks of only the women and the female children who
had not known men were to be saved.

The Israelites were under the Old Covenant given to Moses- the
prophet who received the Law of God namely the 5 books of
Moses in the Tanach (Old Testament under the Old Covenant);
and the Law of God under Old Covenant demanded such
punishment, and the Israelites had to obey God according to
the Law of God in order to be saved
WHEREAS
under the New Covenant given by the prophet, Jesus Christ-
the Son of God to the Christians, the Christians are saved not
by obeying the Law of God alone in order to be saved for no
one was/is sinless for all have fallen short of the glory of God
in that all human beings were/are weak in the flesh as all
had/have sinned against God, but now Christians are saved
by the GRACE(replacing the Law of God) of God which Jesus
Christ has the way of Salvation by Grace of God defined in the
New Testament of the New Covenant in Bible which consists
of the Old and New Testament.
The Law of Grace given by Jesus Christ have cancelled the
killings of infidels specificied in Mat 22:35 Then one of them,
[which was] a lawyer, asked [him a question], tempting him,
and saying,
Mat 22:36 Master, which [is] the great commandment in the law?
Mat 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord
thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with
all thy mind.
Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39 And the second [is] like unto it, THOU SHALT LOVE
THY NEIGHBOUR AS THYSELF.
Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law
and the prophets.

Mohammed claimed that the Muslims were given the Covenant
(Old Covenant) of the Jewish people by Allah, but the Quranic
Covenant is EMPTY ONE because it does not have the Old
Testament which is the Law of God namely the 5 books of Moses
WHEREAS
The Jews have a Holy Book-Tanach which contains only the Old
Covenant WITHOUT THE TESTAMENT THAT SPEAK OF THE
RENEWED COVENANT (mentioned in Jeremiah 31:31-4)
TEACHING ALL INCLUDING THE JEWS the way to Heaven is by
SALVATION OF GRACE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST who forgives
those who repent of their sins by confessions to Him (Jesus) that
will then on teachs the believers-Christians daily how to walk
right with God onwards to Heaven.
FOR WITHOUT THE GRACE OF GOD, no one could obey the
Law of God without sinning. Since all have sinned, everyone needs
forgiveness.
AND WITHOUT THE FORGIVENESS OF GOD through Jesus
Christ, NO ONE COULD BE FORGIVEN!!!
