the jvc is about the best hdv recording camera i worked with
the metering system is terible as each dot is 4 db
also there are 2 line levels ref you should work with -20 ref as it support
+ 4db signal
the -12 support lower consumer level
if you have lectrosonic tx , open the ton on your reciever and the fader
till your mixer will glow + 20 db
then calibrate the camera meter will hit the red , go bit back , you done
the headphones at least on 101 distort at + 16 dbu
the lne level on 101 was noisy so better not to use
work normaly that your picks will hit at least + 10 dbu
