There was a myth that Skin So Soft body lotion was a good Mosquito
repellant. A lot of people used it for that but it never really
worked. So Avon took advantage of the spreading myth and came out
with a product called Skin So Soft Bug Repellant. So if you do
consider using Skin So Soft make sure you get the bug repellant not
there skin so soft body lotion. That said I don't know how well it
works. But Consumer Reports did some research on Bug repellents and
rated a non-deet repellant called "Repel" as being equally effective
as deet spray repellents. I've used Repel and have been very happy
with it. Here's a link.
