A recent trip to the . yielded far more DVDs than I expected -- it will
take me some time to work my way out from under the pile. Viewed so far:
_I'm Gonna Git You Sucka_. I thought it was funny at the time it first
came out, and IMO, it holds up well, even if nowadays we know who Chris
Rock is.
_Blackmail_. I found a couple of box sets of early Hitchcock (3 discs each)
available mega-cheap at a K-Mart. I figured that for $ each, I had little
to lose, especially since the sets included most of his silents (_The Lodger_
being the only one I've seen so far), but the picture quality on these DVDs
is much better than I had expected to be. And as an added bonus, one of
the box sets includes the episode of _Alfred Hitchcock Presents_ that was
too gory to show on network TV.
