That he *actually* slapped anyone? No, but there's the repulsive
interview he gave to Barbara Walters in which he claimed that there are
times when some women need to be slapped, from which it's not
unreasonable to conclude that there have been times when he's actually
done it. It's very rare that I find something an actor says in an
interview so utterly disgusting that I lose all pleasure in watching
their work, but that's how I feel about Connery. He's indefensible.
