<<nomination. I would have preferred the less funded Edwards, whose much
needed populism was upstaged by race, gender, and what he called
"celebrity candidates." OTOH, the money part was certainly not true of
McCain vs. Romney. Pat Buchanan (after Romney's endorsement of McCain)
has suggested the real possibility of a McCain/ Romney ticket. I think
they would win, alas. (As Chris Matthews said the message of this ticket
would not be "high hopes"-- it would be "don't get your hopes up.") I've
said this before, but I feel no matter which party wins in November,
they will be out in 2012. There will be so much BushCo fallout, it will
be a Carter-like Presidency. (I've also heard a number of Conservatives
state that the Dems look to gain numbers in he Senate even with a McCain
victory.) And, hey- Ann "I'm for Hillary" Coulter thinks Obama will be
elected in 2012. BFS.>>>

Suppose Hillary wins? Do you think she might put hubby Bill into the Sec
of State spot?

I'm one of the 25 per cent of Democrats who don't want to see the return
of Bill. I think Obama will win the nomination. Even Andrew Sullivan is
for him.
