We broke it, we bought it. We really can't just leave. If we
walk out, the middle east gets WORSE, and what allies we have in
the region will be weakened, and the rest will realize that we're
not trustworthy. Of course, those things will happen anyway.
We're moderately better off failing by trying to clean up our
mess and failing, rather than failing by abandoning our
responsibility.

Either way we're fucked.
