There are several ways I could answer this. I could cite the number of
people here, not in the troll contingent, who routinely post OT matter
(and maybe you've raised objections to it in the past; if you have,
I'm not aware of it). I could point out the number of film-related
posts I've *actually* made . . . if I thought it mattered one whit. I
could even direct your attention to the rather obvious fact that film
is just about the last subject anyone wants to hear my views on.

I could, if I wanted, say all of that. Instead I'll only ask where it
is you imagine you got the right to demand this of anybody. If I've
offended you in some way you're incapable of articulating, then I
apologize for having done so. But if you require more, then forget it.
The minute I start seeking the approval of others by letting them tell
me what I can and cannot post, rather than obeying my own senses, then
there'll be no end to it. I did not return to this forum to receive
instructions in good conduct from self-appointed authorities. I won't
put up with it; not for two consecutive seconds.

Because I am this close, you see. *This* close. Have been for months
now. And this has become a hassle I do not need.
