No, they totally screwed up the ending. You can't do a blood exchange
from one person. You need several people's worth of blood. Even if
they'd sucked every last drop out of the donor it wouldn't be enough,
and obviously it would kill him. So I have NO idea what they were
supposed to be doing there, with stuff found in a barn. But it was
wrong. Even if you think "hey, let's just cure the vampire" was a good
ending, they screwed it up beyond redemption.
