C'mon now don't you just love so called contrived stories, case in point
where someone comes in at the last min to save the day?

One that always comes to mind is an old Superman EP, where a kid gives
away his grandfather great coat and guess what? The old guy had money
in the lining and of course good old Superman saves the day. Wait the
money is confederate. Low and behold a gent comes to the door with a
check for the grandfather from HIS father. Oh pleaseeee.
