when you say "mock presentation" i'm assuming that it is not actually
important that people hear the program from the PA right... in this
case, PA should be off and just shoot with the lav, or better yet, a
really nice wired mic on the podium. after you are done with the
scene / shot, take your recording and then feed it back into the PA
system direct and then record the sound of the PA... you can then mix
the desired sound in post.
