you can place cf to sd adapter you cant do the opposite :-)
as it bigger it has more space so eventually these would be ever bigger
capacity :-) not that I see someone go over 32 gb a day anyway
by the way I don't get why the all manufactures place multy card reader
slots inside their equip so you can use whatever you find in your nearest
grocery store (my sell cfs and sd :-) )
