Just out of curiosity, as Windows Movie Maker appears to run just fine on my
computer, I did a little research into the issues that some people have had
and it seems that there are many instances of the hoggish suites from Roxio
and Nero taking out file associations, dll's and registry entries for WMM.
Most likely this person's issue is due to a software conflict or corruption
caused by one of these or similar programs. Of course we all know that if
anything goes wrong on a Windows machine with software from 15 different
companies installed, it's Bill Gates' fault.
