Anyone can use a hammer but using it well is another more detailed story.
The Oktava has it's place (if you actually get a Russian one and not a
Chinese knockoff.) With the Dorsey mod it is 85% of a Schoeps, if you buy
the roll off it may be even better. If anyone has bought the roll off
please let us know how it worked out. In some film situations/emvironments,
I would prefer to throw away a Oktava than send a Schoeps to Europe to get
it's oil changed.
