Subject: Wired talent in addition to PA system.

Hey guys,

I have a shoot coming up in which we will be shooting a presenter in a
mock presentation. There will be a PA and the producer would like the
presenter wired in addition to the PA feed. He expressed concern about
the speakers bleed into the lapel. I have done a similiar setup in the
past, however my hands were rather full and could really gauge how
good my Sanken sounded on the talent. Probably 200-250 people in a
decent sized hall.

Does anybody have any good suggestions or cautions? As of now my plan
is to rent a couple Mackie 450's and a small mixer for the PA. 2
Wireless stick mic's for presenter and audiance interaction, probably
SM58 capsules. I'll put cos 11's on presenter and whomever is asking a
question. My feeling is that the wireless will sound fine, but maybe
some well placed cardiod lapels instead? That would be a hassle. I'll
mix the lapels onto 1 and stick mics onto 2.

This is not a live event, it is a shoot and we have control as such.
Probably ample takes etc...

Thanks a lot, cheers!
